Date : July 13th 2002
Grade : 3/5

Comments : Undoubtedly the best Cure setlist I have ever seen, although maybe a bit too long. I am sorry to admit, but even with a great setlist like that, I no longer enjoy their music. I saw them again a few weeks later at the Paleo festival in Switzerland and had the flipside of The Cure with a poppy concert. It was maybe less static but way worse. Well, I guess tastes change.

Justin Sullivan & Friends - Zillo Festival - July 13th 2002

Band : Justin Sullivan & Friends
Venue : Zillo Festival
Town (country) : Hahn (Gremany)
Date : July 13th 2002
Grade : 4/5

Setlist :
Stoned, Fired And Full Of Grace
The Attack
Tales Of The Road
Ballad Of Bodmin Pill
Drummy B
Snelsmore Wood
You Weren't There
Green And Grey
Turn Away
All Of This
If You Can't Save Me
Gimme Shelter

Comments : This is one of the shows I really wanted to see at the Zillo Festival. It seemed lots of other people had the same idea, (most probably because of the rain and the fact it was on the tent stage). Accompanied by Dean White & Michael Dean, Justin Sullivan's concert sounded like an acoustic version of New Model Army. An energetic show featuring a nice setlist, with a good selection of NMA classics. Too bad the venue was overcrowded with people more intrested in shelter than the actual concert.
